If you grow plants that need extra beauty sleep, our blackout screens are double layered to provide more than 99.9% blackout (enough for the most sensitive plants). This even lets you choose an aluminium or white upper layer for solar reflection and a white under layer to intensify the effects of any supplemental lighting.
The XLS OBSCURA screens are for inside the greenhouse with sliding and suspended systems, whereas ILS HORTIROLL is for rolling applications.
XLS OBSCURA FIREBREAK
Blackout and energy saving with a firebreak on every screen
For controlling day length, the double layered XLS OBSCURA FIREBREAK brings 99,9% blackout - enough for most sensitive plants. The aluminum upper layer reflects sunlight but retains heat at night. Choosing white will intensify the effects of supplemental light.
All Svensson inside screens can be used under all type of greenhouses cover. Their unique knitted structure reduces condensation and allows them to be bundled to a small size for maximum available light. They are UV stable and remain clean and effective for a long time
Each climate screen has approx 40 cm (16") of firebreak along both sides, intended to limit screen-to-screen fire spread. When properly installed, this provides approx an 80 cm (32") of firebreak between adjacent screens.
